Transitioning to Fall: Hair
This is a guest post by Kristi Beaman from Studio B.
For fashionistas everywhere, fall is the season for fashion. With new fashion trends emerging we see new beauty trends as well. This year there are three big trends in hair:
Bangs. This is a classic look that always pops up in a different way. This year we are seeing longer bangs, sometimes known as fringe. Whether you have a shorter style or longer locks, bangs always add a sexy and mysterious look to most face shapes. Always consult with your stylist and be sure to have a pro work their magic to create your ideal look.
The “Lob”, or long bob. We are seeing client after client go from long layers to a longer version of a classic Bob. Most clients want a more angled “Lob” where the front grazes the collar bone and the back just barely brushes the shoulders. This is definitely a fashion forward trend that we will continue to see throughout the next year.
Red! Every fall, red is the hot color that everyone seems to ask for. What’s great about transitioning into darker and warmer colors is that most stylists can use a glaze to give you that rich color you are going for. A glaze is a temporary color that conditions your hair without the commitment of permanent color. This year the Reds are more coppery and golden in color which is great for warming up your skin tone.
