Fall ’15 Accessories!

layered necklaceI’ve heard from lots of clients that their main concern in the morning is finding something great to wear without a lot of fuss. I get it! Some days I’m rushing out the door so fast I have to double check that I put both my shoes on.

That’s probably why I love fall fashion so much. It’s the quintessential season for cozy, comfortable, and downright-simple fashion. Here are a few accessories I’ve found that will help you look put together this season, even on your most hectic mornings.

First, two necklace styles are expected to be popular this season. For starters, chokers from the ’90s are back in a big way. Writer Alexis Bennett from InStyle recently reported that Kim Kardashian was out on the town wearing a choker necklace that added a bit of ’90s “grunge” to her outfit. When you recreate the look for yourself, you don’t have to go as gothic as Kim K. Something in a similar style but lighter color will achieve the same trend with a more feminine flare.

Also, as you can see from the display of jewelry on Lyst, long and delicate chains are a hot commodity this season. The trend is fairly easy to pull off, just pair it with a solid colored top or dress. The more simple your outfit, the more the necklace will stand out.

There are also two popular designs trending this season for rings, with gold standing out as the favourite finish. The first is a thin band, with a simple charm or focal point, such as a small heart. The second goes in the exact opposite direction, with several thick, heavy rings stacked together to really make a statement.

Rihanna was spotted sporting the look while she attended the shows during Paris Fashion Week. According to Daily Mail’s report on the event , the singer paired her collection of gold rings with an oversized pink coat-dress and PVC boots. She also wore a long gold chain necklace, showing just how well the two trends complement one another.

Throw on a few of this fall’s fun accessories and out the door you go!
